6.2L Diesel Engine Rebuild - Part 1: Top End Teardown
4 years ago
231
This is part one of a series of videos following a complete tear-down and rebuild of a 1986 GM 6.2 liter diesel engine that came from a 1986 M1008 CUCV.
In Part 1 we take the shortest route possible to quickly remove the entire top end of the GM 6.2 liter diesel. We will remove the CDR Valve, Vacuum Pump, Coolant Crossover/Thermostat Housing, Water Pump Assembly, Fuel Pump Assembly, Intake Manifold, Exhaust Manifold, Rocker Assemblies, Push Rods, Heads and Dipstick. We'll also inspect and take a loot at that curious water situation.
