Washington: Palouse Falls 2020 with the bus

Palouse Falls in Eastern Washington, a beautiful location. We took a day trip just to get away for the day.
When my family and I take trips like this I always plan in the back of my mind a Photo shoot, so I brought my cameras and gear. I have a pair of Sony A77’s, and carry identical lenses except for a few specialty lenses. In looking at these pictures, I noticed that I was taking more pictures of my family, than the waterfall. There are places where you can go over the barriers and walk around to the top of the falls, which I was planning on doing, but was overruled by my wife. She grabbed one of my cameras and started taking pictures of what I was taking pictures of, then started taking pictures of me taking pictures of my daughter Sofia. It was kind of a behind the scenes photo shoot. After looking at the pictures of the falls, and surrounding area, I didn’t have enough pictures to do a decent slide show, so I decided to take on what was right there. A behind the scenes look at an impromptu photoshoot of my daughter. No makeup, no fancy clothes, just her beautiful face and self-styled braids. On the way out, I saw an eye catching scene, a really cool bus in an empty field with a huge rainstorm behind it rolling towards us. I used the cloud to my advantage in the background. You remember outside of every small town, you’ll see a large Rock, train trestle, or highway underpass that is the location of High School Graffiti by the graduating seniors? The town of Washtucna brought in a retired school bus for their high school seniors to display their artistic talents with. The Bus filled with Graffiti juxtaposed in front of the looming rain clouds made very good subject matter, so I had to stop for a bit to share with you what I was seeing.
