Washington: Seattle, Pacific Science Center 2017

The Pacific Science Center in Seattle is a fascinating place to go, with or without your kids. It is an educational showcase of Science, offering hands on Experiments, rotating Science themed displays like the Titanic, and Chinese clay warriors. You can see animatronics Dinosaurs, see your weight on Mercury or Mars, walk through a butterfly dome, watch IMAX movies on a Giant screen, or watch a Laser show. Plan on taking about 2 hours if you aren’t really interested in Science, and 4 or more hours if you think Science is kinda cool. There is just so much to see here that time will fly by.
The Pacific Science Center is located inside of the Seattle Center, where you can also spend most of the day just wandering around looking at the artwork, Space Needle, Monorail, and the Armory, slash food court.
Also in the Seattle Center is the EMP Electronic Music Project, a building that houses all things Rock and Roll, and Science Fiction. A Museum and set of interactive exhibits on Rock and Roll, in one area, and Fantasy and Science Fiction in another.Show more

Sofia and I took the day off to go visit the Pacific Science Center. We didn’t go to take pictures of her, she just found a place to stand and started posing like crazy. I didn’t say anything. I took over 1,300 pictures that day, mostly of Sofia and the butterflies. I just couldn’t post all of them. What a great day, Sofia was so animated and joyful that it was a memorable day, just father and daughter.
