2016 Seattle Fall colors of the Kubota Japanese Gardens

The Seattle Kubota Gardens are one of those places you have to be lost to find it. Tucked into a large rambling set of neighborhoods with streets seemingly placed after the houses were built and made to fit in the area. Which I thought was fantastic when I discovered the park. It was like my own secret hangout that nobody else knew about. It’s quiet, well maintained and sparsely visited. This time my family and I were out driving around and I found myself in the general area of the Kubota gardens, so I thought I’d surprise my new family with a visit to some “Asian culture”. They were thrilled to see the gardens, but we weren’t dressed for it at all. It started to rain and we only got to see about a quarter of the overall park. What we did see was amazing, I hope you agree with me as you look at the beautiful pictures I took on that day.
