Orchids in Vietnam

Orchids in Vietnam, if you’ve never been to the tropics before, you may think Orchids are beautiful exotic flowers, but in Vietnam they are actually pretty common. Ok, not like you’ll find them everywhere, more like they are so beautiful that they have become a favorite flower in Vietnam. People are growing them everywhere, some people like breeding different varieties for color and shape. Because of this, there are more varieties of Orchids in Vietnam than anywhere else in the world from what a couple of Vietnamese horticulturalists have told me. I was impressed by the massive variety that I saw there, so of course I needed to take pictures to share with you here. I made a few videos from my visit to the Tao Dan Park in Saigon, both times I visited the park, in 2015 and in 2019, there were Orchid, Bonsai, Gem, and exotic fish shows, that’s how I ended up taking 3,000 pictures per day while in Saigon. 
