Now that the mast is off the boat, I need to remove the pin from the mast. It is stainless steel and the mast is aluminum. The corrosion produced by dissimilar metals has made the pin impossible to remove. A friend & I created a jig to support a bottle jack, and a little heat ...
I then power wash the hull-deck joint in preparation for the sealing treatment.
