Traditional, lacquer based kintsugi, fitting glass back together

This video shows fitting thick, beveled glass from the front of a grandfather clock, back together with special, glass lacquer. I had the glass flipped in the special holder I built and it took a couple of tries to get it in. I have plastic wrap on the wood in the frame where the glass goes but since I had the glass flipped it won't do the job I intended, blocking the mugiurushi from getting on the wood base.
