Slaying Dragons with Question-Affirmations

In this emotional healing lesson, I share one of the most powerful emotional healing techniques I know—the question-affirmation technique. I explain the background of why this technique works and how to do it. The dragon-slaying metaphor comes from an understanding that evil involves a deception that perverts the natural inclination we have to seek light and good by causes us to see light as darkness and darkness as light, to put evil for good and good for evil and to perceive bitter as sweet and sweet as bitter. (See Isaiah 5:20)

The dragon is the deception or illusion that causes us to continue doing things which create pain and suffering and avoid doing what would bring pleasure, joy, happiness and peace of mind. Slaying the dragon is the process of creating awareness that dispels the illusion and causes us to see the truth.

Dragons live in darkness. They depend on us denying our feelings and living only in our heads.

This lesson also explains the difference between self-limiting beliefs and real faith. Real faith isn't blind acceptance of ideas, it is a dynamic power that allows us to overcome all obstacles in our life
