Life Expectancy at Birth 1950 - 2100 Countries Regions Sexes
Life expectancy at birth means the average years a newborn at a specific time can expect to live. The number varies among countries, regions and sexes. Depending on several factors. As time pass by, historical numbers are easier to determine. Future estimates are harder, and must be based on known factors. For instance, science already brings us life extension, but in the near future more exotic factors may raise the numbers to over hundred years. Or even hundreds.
Notes:
Estimates are medium variant.
Latin America includes the Caribbean.
English Channels does not have official flag. The Jersey flag is shown here for presentation.
