Grilled Ribeye!

Today I show you how I BBQ a Rib Eye.

First drizzle some avocado oil over the rib eye. You can use any cooking oil of your choice but avocado oil has a nice and high smoking point. The oil will help with getting a nice sear and crust as well.

Next throw some salt and pepper on all sides of the meat. And be liberal about it! The steak is a good thickness and we want to taste the seasonings. I use Kinders. Its salt, pepper, and garlic! Sometimes I throw Cayenne or Paprika in as well for extra flavor!

Next throw it on the grill! Make sure the grates are nice and hot. You can hold your hand above the grill but be careful not to burn yourself. If you can hold your hand without feeling a burn from the heat your grill isn't hot enough!

Let the Ribeye sit for 2 minutes and then turn it 45 degrees. This will help get the desired cross burn on the ribeye and help create a crust.

Let the ribeye sit another 2 minutes and then flip!

Keep an eye on your temperature as the ribeye only needs 2 to 4 minutes to finish cooking. Use a thermometer to monitor doneness.

Pull off the grill at 125 degrees farenehight for rare doneness. 130 to 135 for medium rare. Do not over cook it!

Once steak is at desired doneness pet sit for about to 6 to 8 minutes to allow the juices of the meat to evenly distribute.

Cut the ribeye in half and turn the meat so that the grain is facing your knife. Cut against grain for a great tender cut of meat.

Enjoy!
