In this latest 1/350 scale plastic model ship build, we’ll take on the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) Kagero class destroyer—Yukikaze. We'll construct, add kit supplied and White Ensign photo etch, airbrush, hand paint, weather, detail, and add rigging to Tamiya’s Kit #78020.

This will be the 25th amateur model project for this channel.

UPDATE: On March 31, 2021, Caladan Oceanic re-surveyed the wreckage field believed to be the USS Johnston (DD-557) and confirmed it is indeed the Johnston through new underwater images including the bow which displayed "557". This section lies 21,180 ft (6456m) below the ocean surface.
