This video contains footage I shot of World War II aircraft operated by the Collins Foundation when it visited Avra Valley Airport in Arizona in 2016.
This includes extensive “film” of the Boeing B-17G known as “Nine-O-Nine” which later crashed on October 02, 2019 in Connecticut with 7 fatalities and the complete loss of the aircraft.
I’ve decided to re-upload this material in light of the recent release (December 2020) of the NTSB Factual Report on that accident.

Also seen near the beginning of this video is the primary pilot (Mac McCauley) of the future mishap flight. He was one of those killed in 2019.

The imagery seen in part leaves behind a legacy of this particular aircraft during her historical glory days of flying.

Aircraft seen: B-17G Superfortress "Nine-O-Nine"
B-24J Liberator "Witchcraft"
B-25 Mitchell "Tondelayo"
P-51C Mustang "Betty Jane"
