Forgiving ourselves - How to stop shame and condemnation
Forgiving ourselves is another essential emotional skill we need to learn and practice in order to be able to move forward, toward successful relationships and a successful life.
For the longest time I thought forgiving myself was the same as justifying something wrong as "necessary," and this meant never being able to change the behaviors I didn't really want to offer.
As a part of my inner healing journey, I also discovered that God is much easier on and understanding of us than we are of ourselves. In this video, we're taking a look at how I discovered forgiving ourselves is an emotional skill while reading the book, "When sorry isn't enough," by Dr. Gary Chapman and Dr. Jennifer Thomas.
What do you think about forgiving ourselves? Is this something you're practicing? If not, why not? :) :) :)
