New Bow Sprit Wood

I sourced and procured a piece of wood for the new bow sprit. It is a beautiful piece of wood. It would have been cheaper to buy 2x6" planks and epoxy them together. But that was the method of construction for the old bow sprit, and the old one saw water ingress along the seams and then rotted. I hope a solid piece will last much longer than a laminated piece.
