Graniteville Cemetery - Part Two

Continue the tour of this old cemetery! From the unique markers, to unmarked graves, these sites date back into the early 1800's, before cemeteries kept records. Many graveyards back in those times could only use the resources they had available to them to mark graves and that was wood. Wood doesn't last long in the elements, so other than an occasional footstone or field stone, many of the graves here are simply unmarked. The cemetery isn't 100% sure how many unmarked graves there actually are. We hope you enjoy the video!
