Vehicle Fire!
The driver was okay, thank goodness! He stopped by later to talk to me after noticing I was standing across the street with my smartphone filming the whole ordeal! When I saw the truck smoking, I ran out to ensure the driver was out. The once I saw him standing back from the truck, I began filming.

Graniteville Cemetery - Part Two
Continue the tour of this old cemetery! From the unique markers, to unmarked graves, these sites date back into the early 1800's, before cemeteries kept records. Many graveyards back in those times could only use the resources they had available to them to mark graves and that was wood. Wood doesn't last long in the elements, so other than an occasional footstone or field stone, many of the graves here are simply unmarked. The cemetery isn't 100% sure how many unmarked graves there actually are. We hope you enjoy the video!

HELLS GATE - THE FORGOTTEN - THE UNWANTED
Located in the upstate of SC, this cemetery is said to be one of the most-haunted cemeteries in the southeast United States. Locals call this cemetery Hells' Gate because of the alleged attacks that happen to those who dare visit, even during the daytime. Locals who live nearby the cemetery claim they hear screams coming from the graveyard, some of the newer neighbors have called the police to report it. The main part we visited was the paupers' cemetery. This is in the back and where the 'least-desirable' members of the community were buried. The indigent, the poor and the criminals were all buried here for a long time. There are so many unmarked graves in this place. Many have been abandoned and forgotten. Some were actually bulldozed over. My wife & I saw the dozer tracks and saw hundreds of pieces of broken grave markers. They were pushed under like trash and it made us feel sad and, to be perfectly honest, very uneasy. It's like my feet could feel the anger rising up through the earth. The hair on the back of my neck stood up. This graveyard is what's inspired me to take up paranormal investigation. Please look for more upcoming videos as we plan on going back to this graveyard to do a proper investigation.
My wife & I visited there this past summer. While we were there, we weren't attacked nor did we hear screams but we weren't prepared to do an actual investigation-we weren't equipped to. We are now.
We were there during the day and the temperatures were right at 100 degrees so we only stayed a little over two hours. Let us know what you think! We hope you enjoy the video!

Sheldon Church Ruins
Sheldon Church, formerly known as the Prince William Parish Church, has a tumultuous and eventful history. From it's first service in 1757 to it's present peaceful setting, the church has followed the travails of our nations' history. It is one, if not THE, first churches built in temple form in the United States. Originally organized and funded in the 1740's and1750's by William Bull, who's Newberry Plantation bordered the church grounds, the church was named Sheldon in honor of the Bulls' family ancestral home in England. The church was set ablaze in 1779 by British troops led by General Augustine Prevost during the revolutionary war. It was rebuilt from the remaining walls between 1825 and 1826. Tradition states that on January 14, 1865, near the end of the Civil War, General Shermans' troops burned the church for a second time as port of his "March To The Sea' campaign. While the walls still refused to fall, the church was not repaired again. However, another possible fate has come to light. In a litter dated February 3, 1866, after the end of the war, Milton Leverett wrote that "Sheldon Church not burn't. Just torn up in the inside but can be repaired". The inside of Sheldon Church was apparently gutted by whites and blacks who needed the materials to rebuild their homes burned by Sherman's army. This information comes from The Leverett Letters, published by the University of South Carolina Press, and can be found on pages 403 and 405. Please note that the National Registers' description quoted below, supports the contested theory that the church was burned by Sherman's troops.
