The Renton Boeing assembly plant. Where they put together the Boeing 737’s is the really big set of buildings in the distance of most of the pictures. Not the largest building in the world, that title goes to eth Everett Boeing building about 45 miles North. This is one of the oldest Boeing buildings. I’ve posted some web sites below if you are interested in reading a bit about the fascinating history of the Boeing Renton plant.
The Renton Boeing plant is an overwhelming presence in the city of Renton, Visible from the freeway nearby,( Interstate 405) and ending at the shore of Lake Washington, which was really convenient because a great deal of early Boeing planes were float planes.
