The Book of Mormon contains information, unknown at the time of its publication, that has subsequently been proven. This is the 3rd of 4 video segments uncovering and documenting the superhuman origins and content of the Book of Mormon.

This segment documents the failure of critics who claimed that the Book of Mormon text had been "stolen" from a book previously penned by Solomon Spaulding. Then it examines the compelling life histories of the eyewitnesses who testified that they had seen the golden plates containing the original, ancient text. All 12 of the eyewitnesses repeated, over and over again to the end of their lives, that there had been no deception. It is clear that all 12 eyewitnesses were absolutely convinced.

This segment concludes with further proof that Joseph Smith was only the translator of the Book of Mormon and could not have been the "author" thereof. The proof consists of the late 20th-century discovery of profound "chiastic" structures within the early 19th-century text, pointing out that chiasms were completely unknown in America until many decades after the publication of the Book of Mormon. The subtle presence, profound depth, rich complexity, and modern discovery of chiasms in the 1830 Book of Mormon text provide an insurmountable challenge to critics who claim that Smith somehow wove them into the text accidentally, without knowing what a chiasm is or that a hundred years after his death that the presence of chiastic structure in an ancient document would be considered proof of authentic, ancient middle-eastern influence or origin.
