Low level cloud cover has been a problem for the last few days with weak sun strength, light winds, and low level moisture from the Great Lakes. It appears the cloudy weather will be around for much of the weekend with mostly cloudy to overcast skies as this pattern sticks around. Tonight will cool off into the mid teens with light northwest winds and mostly cloudy to overcast skies. There could be some patchy freezing fog resulting in some slick spots. Saturday and Sunday will have highs in the upper 20s to lower 30s with partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies and light winds. Temperatures next week will get into the lower to mid 30s with dry weather. some days will see more cloud cover than others. Long range projections show slightly above average temperatures and below average precipitation for the first half of January.
