Well, I took the opportunity to photograph Yellowstone Falls as well as the Grand Prismatic Spring. Not my favorite photography spots, but never the less, provided some good opportunity.
If you are going to photography Yellowstone Falls for the sunrise, you needn't be there for sun up, unless you want to photograph in the blue lithg hour. Otherwise, simply be there about 2 hours after the sun rises. At this point, the sun hits the canyon and lights up the mist of the falls, with any luck at all, giving you a rainbow effect in the bottom mist.
