Life has become a little challenging for me now. As we are selling our house and choosing to begin living out of our Winnebago Micro Minni FLX RV we are learning how to trust God at a much deeper level. We took the FLX out on a test run to the Smoky Mountains this past 14 days and while out we did a hike to Huckleberry Bald. While up there, we found ourselves in the clouds. I wondered if perhaps throwing up the DJI Avata and the DJI Mavic Air 2s would allow me to get some above the cloud drone reel. Sure enough I was able to do so. I wanted to be able to share this stunning video footage with all of you so I am putting it up using one of my favorite Christian Music Artists, Andrew Ward. I really thought this song fits our current mindset and state of being related to our life choices and changes. I hope you enjoy. In this video, I am sharing a Christian Worship Music Song by Andrew Ward called Unfailing. This 4k music video includes a number of video scenes shot with my DJI Avata FPV drone as well as my DJI Mavic Air 2s. A number of shots are above the clouds. I was able to gather the shots by hiking up to Huckleberry Know in the Appalachian mountains with low clouds on the mountain. A short flight up about 200 feet gave me a view above the clouds. I thought Andrew Word's Unfailing fit the mood of this video so I edited it to this song to share some hope and inspiration with you. The lyrics to the song are appropriate for today's video and our lives as we are making significant changes. Welcome to my Colorado White Christmas in 4k Video Reel. I had wanted for some time to get some beautiful snowy mountain 4k video footage with my drone for a few years now. I like to provide my church with the Motion Background videos and we needed some that would give the feeling of Christmas! Well this trip into Denver sure proved fruitful. We flew into Denver from Orlando and made our way to Estes Park. Over the coming days we would find ourselves driving the Peak to Peak scenic byway all the way to Georgetown where we stayed. While there we drove to the Loveland Pass area a number of times to get the aerial photography and video I had hoped to gather but also found a nice 3 mile hike we did. This trail was one popular with the cross country ski crowd so the snow pack was perfect for our hiking adventures. We enjoyed the Pennsylvania Creek hike. We drove around the small ski towns of Keystone and Breckenridge and thought they were perfect for some night time video and photography...which I ultimately did. Welcome to my Denver Christmas Lights 2022 in 4k video. In a recent trip west to the city of Denver as part of my adventures to capture aerial video, I thought it would be nice to fly around a bit and capture the city of Denver as they display their Christmas decorations. Now mind you, I am from Michigan so I am and have seen plenty of winter time Christmas lights, but I was not fully prepared for just how amazing and beautiful the city of Denver is at Christmas. My wife being a Florida native has never seen Christmas in the snow. I thought it would be utterly wonderful to take her along for the ride and show her around the mountains. The first part of my mission was to film and photograph the downtown Denver city scape before heading to Estes park then to drive the Peak to Peak Highway all the way through and up to Breckenridge. Honestly, I had no idea what exactly to expect in the Denver downtown area, but wow was it something. We started at the Denver Zoo, worked our way to the Denver Botanical gardens and ultimately made our way to city hall and the mile high tree. Along the way, we were treated to a number of locations and showings that blew my mind. If you'd like to take a brief tour please watch this video. In today's Video I am going to take you through Downtown Orlando at Christmas Time in full 4k UHD. Enjoy! This is my Orlando Christmas 2022 production. Florida presents the Christmas season surprisingly well. From the Theme Parks of Universal Studios and the Seaworld adventure park, to the Downtown Buildings in their lighted colorful glory to the perimeter of the Lake Eola park, you are sure to be in awe of the Christmas season decorations. The lighted tree show in the Lake Eola park area was a spectacle to behold Ever hour on the 45 mark, for 4 or 5 showings at night the tree synchronizes with music and the fountain. They do a dance together for about 10 minutes that is very special and worth watching. I tried to capture just a little bit of this for your viewing pleasure. Universal Studios shows incredibly spectacular lights and fireworks all across it's property and I was able to gather just a little of that footage for you to view as well. Christmas remains my favorite time of the year. As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, we can enjoy the wonderful colors and splendor of the rich decorations around our homes and our communities. In today's how to Rumble video I am going to show you how I shoot 4k Daytime Hyperlapse videos with my DJI Mavic Air 2s. I start off by affixing the darkest ND Filter I can find which for me is currently the ND 512. A very dark filter. The dark filter reduces the amount of light that makes it to the sensor. As the light is reduce a slower shutter speed is required. This slower shutter speed allow the movement in the film to show a lot of motion blur. This adds to the overall drama and reality of the Hyperlapse movie in the finished output. The Air 2s does a noble job of creating the project right inside the drone. However, this does mean a significant reduction in overall quality. I shoot and store every image in the RAW file format and carry them into Adobes Lightroom Classic. I then batch edit the photos and ultimately use the high resolution RAW files to create the extremely high resolution 4k video final output. I liken it to using your DSLR camera in all it's glory on Automatic or Program when it's capable of so much more. In today's Rumble video we are going to do some Panorama Photography using the DJI Mavic Air 2s. The Mavic Air 2s sports some amazing capability and capacity to shoot panoramic photographs. We will go over how to use the Automatic shooting tools in the drone to shoot both a 180 degree panorama and also a wide angle panorama. Not only that, I am going to show you how to stitch your files together using Adobe Lightroom. I shoot all DNG or "RAW" files when doing photography with the Mavic Air2s. I'll explain why in this video Our subject today for the photograph will be the Orlando Florida International Drive attraction known as the Orlando Eye; an enormous Ferris Wheel that is part of the tourist attraction area in Orlando know as I Drive. I have been up and flying around Orlando as of late with a moderate level of frequency. I like flying in the early morning hours before the sun comes up. As it's summer, this makes for some early mornings; like 4:30 am early to capture epic drone video and photography. The early mornings are calm and generally cool so it makes for great video. In today's Rumble video we are going to visit the state of Utah's Wedge. The Wedge, otherwise known as the Mini Grand Canyon of Utah is absolutely gorgeous. It is full of back country camping opportunity and plenty of RV or Vanlife locations to park for a few days. Where I stayed for this particular portion of my van travel trip provided wonderful camping, RV staying, and photography opportunity. While there, I noted a number of van life folk. Not over the top however. To get to this particular area required an awful long drive down a number of dirt roads. As it was raining and snowing the entire time, it did make for a messy drive. Fortunately for me, the weather did let up as soon as I arrived at my chosen campsite and remained wonderfully calm, albeit cold while there. In today's video, I am going to take you through the North Cascades National Park in the State of Washington ( WA ). In specific the Washington Pass Overlook area as well as the Maple Pass Loop to photograph where I will do some panorama photography as well as a beautiful HDR photo. The expanse of land in this park is so vast, the horizon is SO big it was borderline impossible to get it all in one shot. Even using my ultra wide Angle Tokina 11-20mm zoom lens! Instead, I opted to take a wide panorama image of the Washington pass over look that I could later, in Lightroom, stitch together for a print. While there, the variation in the sky was so different I thought I play around and plan to produce an HDR image later when I returned home. If you aren't clear on the HDR, let me explain. To produce an HDR image, what you will need to do will be to shoot a series of shots, in this case, I shot 5. One shot at the "correct" exposure, and the subsequent shots each over and under exposed by varying stops (making it under exposed and over exposed). A tripod is very necessary to make this shot as the scene cannot change at all. In my camera, I set it to shoot them automatically with the single push of the shutter release. It fired off the shots and I went on my way, to later, again, stack them together in Lightroom using the Lightroom HDR photo merge. You see the images in the first half of the video. Later, the hike took me 7 miles on trail, ascending a significant amount of feet, to eventually get to the top of the Maple Ridge Loop trail. What a scene. The lark trees were in full fall color change creating a vast set of bright yellow larch pines all over the mountain range. I have never seen anything like it. Day one, well technically day 2, took me to Diablo Lake and the Thunder Knob Trail. Stunning photography took place on what started out as a very overcast and low hanging cloud day. The North Cascade park is on the very edge of the north side of the State of Washington, backing right up to Canada. Known for it's Picket range among other sights, it is one of the more remote and desolate park. Many of the hikes inside the park require overnight back packing skills. Although there are a few wonderfully epic day hikes...such as the Thunder Knob trail as well as the Maple Ridge Loop. Not to be missed. While this park is a way's out there in the middle of nothing, it most certainly is one to not miss. Enjoy the photography and by all means, stop by my website. Hey there. I spent an afternoon hiking to Two Medicine and Scenic Point in Glacier National park to do some sunrise photography. I loved taking Drone Video with my Mavic Air 2 from outside the park to get some drone video. You will see some of my drone reel from Glacier in this video. Joelle and I, while visiting Glacier National Park in September, wanted to get some sunrise photography over Two Medicine Lake. Two Medicine Lake offers one of the most epic spots to do a little sunrise photography inside the national park itself. At Two Medicine, you are going to find a number of GREAT trails to hike for the day. This portion of Glacier is on the very east side of the park, accessible via Going to the Sun Road or, if that is close, around the bottom of the park via Highway 2 assuming you are coming from the west and driving east. While it was supremely windy, we still achieved a few very nice photographs all things considered and certainly enjoyed the hike to the top of Scenic Point. It was a really tough hike up the mountain side, but it was a good one. If it weren't so windy, I suspect it would have been more enjoyable.
