Danger & Love: for the Glory of God

For the glory of God, let's talk about danger and love. We need to understand how dangerous God is to understand the nobility of His love. His presence is deadly, and yet He desires to be with us; not that we might be destroyed, but that we might know real goodness. Our modern world has trained us to think that safety is both good and a preeminent virtue. However it is neither, and idea is but a trick from below. It is a trick to make you feel comfortable about rejecting goodness and nobility, to feel content selling your children into slavery because you felt safe from a famine. Truly good things come at a cost, for they always do. Let us understand the truth of goodness and nobility. (Church of the Nazarene Stream Preacher)
