"What was the greatest prophesy with the most direct reference Jesus gave before he resurrected?", you may be thinking. Well, we'll be going over that in today's podcast.

Transcript: Jesus was God incarnate of Flesh, which means he would be a prophet as well, right? That's probably what your thinking. To that note, he indeed is. This podcast is about one of the greatest prophesy that has already happened, which is the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. Matthew 24:1-2, Jesus left the temple and was going away, when his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple. But he answered them, “You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” Also recorded in Mark 13:1-2, And as he came out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher, what wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!” And Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” As well as in Luke 21:5-6, And while some were speaking of the temple, how it was adorned with noble stones and offerings, he said, “As for these things that you see, the days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” (ESV) The Jews of Judea rebelled in 66 A.D. Emperor Nero sent an army under General Vespasian. By 68 A.D, resistance in the Northern part of the province had been wiped out. Nero then died, due to the chaos that ensued, Vespasian declared himself emperor. Titus, his son, led the remaining soldiers to Jerusalem. The Roman legion began squeeze in on around the stronghold. By 70 A.D, the walls of the city were breached, the ransacking began. Then the Romans ended the battle when, their lust for battle and detestation of the Jews, against Caesar's orders, by burning and destroying the Second Temple. They took the giant stones that were unthinkably movable, that they had put there in the first place for the Jews under Herod the Great to revitalize the modest and small temple that the Jews had built after they were released from Babylon due to the Persians, and hurled them down into the Valley nearby. The Romans then slaughtered thousands. Thousands more who hadn’t bit the dust were sold off into slavery & sent to the mines in Egypt. Many were sent to various arenas, and we all know how that turned out. Within 3 years, all the pockets of resistance were spat out. The sacred relics from the Temple were put on display in Rome as celebratory items of the victory. So, in case you had to rewind the video half-dozen times, Jesus was indeed a prophet even BEFORE he resurrected.
