DRIVER ROLLS PICKUP, ALCOHOL SUSPECTED, LIVINGSTON, TEXAS
Driver Rolls Pickup, Flown to Houston, Alcohol Suspected, NEW WILLARD, September 17, 2020 - At approximately 3:35 pm on September 17, 2020, a white 2003 Chevy Silverado pickup, driven by Blake England, 25, of Longview, was north-bound on US-59. For some reason, England's pickup left the pavement to the right, struck an embankment, went airborne, landed and rolled. Englanc was ejected from his pickup and landed in the weeds. England's pickup came to rest upright facing north in the grass. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Troopers Nick Hatton, Ashlee White, and Sergeant Sam Lattner with the Texas Highway Patrol. England was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital where a medical helicopter landed and flew him to Hermann Hospital in Houston. England allegedly smelled of alcohol, additionally, cans of beer and beer boxes spilled from his pickup during the rollover. England's pickup was recovered by Fawbush Wrecker and will be stored in Goodrich.
