en Tu Mountain (Chinese characters: 安 子 山 Yen Tu Son), also known as Tuong Dau mountain, is a mountain 1068m above sea level in the Dong Trieu mountain range in northeastern Vietnam (the highest peak is called Tu Tieu) . The mountain is located at the boundary between the two provinces of Bac Giang and Quang Ninh. Yen Tu Mountain is a high mountain range located in the Northeast of Vietnam with a rich and diverse flora and fauna system recognized by the state as a nature reserve. The East of Yen Tu range belongs to Quang Ninh province and the West belongs to Bac Giang province. Yen Tu mountain still preserves a system of historical and cultural relics associated with the birth, formation and development of Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect. The old peak was in Nam Mau commune, Bi Giang district, Dong Trieu district, Hai Duong (now belongs to Nam Mau village, Thuong Yen Cong commune, Uong Bi city, Quang Ninh province). As a natural landscape, Mount Yen Tu also preserves many historical relics with the name "land of the ancestors of Buddhism in Vietnam". On the top of the mountain, there is usually cloud cover, so it was called Bach Van Son in the past. The total length of the road to reach the top of Yen Tu (Dong pagoda) is about 6000m with 6 hours of continuous walking through thousands of stone steps, mountain roads ... Around Yen Tu mountain area are still monuments and important landscapes such as nature reserve West Yen Tu (Bac Giang) and the historic Tran Dynasty in Dong Trieu (Quang Ninh). This system of monuments and landscapes is grouped into Yen Tu Monuments Complex to propose to UNESCO as world heritage sites.
