Do you have a regular routine to do before bedtime? The truth is that most people generally have a routine or a series of habits they do before going to sleep. People can do many things before bedtime, these habits can be meditation, yoga, reading or even exercising if necessary. They say that we are all creatures of habits and we tend to do things the same way every night. In this case, Mikey is an 11-year-old gregarious dog with some adorable eccentricities.

Every night, when it's time to go to sleep, the owner calls Mikey to the room and the fun starts there. Instead of going straight to his room, Mikey turns what should be a simple non-event into something completely different. He quickly jogs down the hallways that pass through the kitchen while his owner follows him and verbally tries to direct him to the correct room. Mikey knows exactly where his room is, he has done it a million times before, what kind of game is he playing? Are you trying to say "I'm not tired yet" or are you just trying to exercise your owner before bedtime? Whatever the reason, it is a funny thing to witness and the comment of its owner makes it even more comical. Finally, after several laps circling around the house, Mikey finally arrives at the correct room and quickly slips under his owner's bed to sleep well.

Following specific schedules when doing the walks, putting the food or when going out to play, it will be essential for our dog to show a stable and calm behavior. Instinctively, dogs know what time it is for them to eat and when they must claim their owners for a walk. Meeting your basic needs in an orderly manner will help you organize your life and that of your best friend.

All dogs should be able to enjoy at least 15 or 30 minutes a day of free fun, such as playing ball with him in a pip-can. This habit is essential to help them release stress and enrich their daily lives in a positive way. However, dogs must learn to differentiate what is to play and what is not. Virtually all dogs destroy something of value to their owners at some point in their lives, especially when they are puppies. We must not let this be habitual behavior. They must learn to recognize their toys and those that never were, nor will they be.

Within the habits and positive routines for the dog we also find the moment of the walk. As you know, dogs need to go outside to do their needs, but also to continue interacting with other dogs and people. It is a fundamental part of their day to day and essential for them to have a happy life.

Dogs are extravagant creatures, just like people. Everyone has their own personalities and unique habits. Does your dog have some fun nighttime routines? Feel free to comment below and if you enjoyed this clip, share it with your friends.
