Two vehicles have near miss on roadway

There was a cascade of events leading to this near miss on the roadway in Southern California. One car, in the left turn lane is sitting too far to the right of the lane putting pressure on approaching cars to move out of the way. One car makes a decision to change lanes but fails to see the lane is not clear. Thankfully, the car in the third lane sees this and reacts defensively and avoids being hit. This is an example of how important it is to use caution changing lanes, and never change too quickly without checking and double checking the lane is clear.
