Lyft chief operating officer addresses advances in autonomous technology Unlisted Video

Lyft’s chief operating officer Jon McNeill addressed the upcoming revolution in autonomous technology. He compared the problem drivers face today to the telephone switchboard workers of the 70s. McNeill said when the digital operator took over, operator jobs were replaced with call center jobs. He said similarly, autonomous jobs will create a demand for mechanics and drivers should switch over to that field.
