The Only Angle That Works for Landmine Chest Press

It's only at a very specific posture relative to the barbell that you can actually primarily use your chest during a landmine chest press. Most people doing this are using their shoulder primarily. To stand and target our chest, we need to engage in more chest adduction as opposed to facing forward and just doing shoulder flexion (what the anterior deltoid does) and elbow extension (tricep). Turn into the bar push across the body, and you'll feel much more chest. You can test this even without a barbell by pushing your bicep across you into your chest and feeling your chest flex greater than just pushing your arm straight out in front of you. Lean back some to leverage more chest as well. The more forward lean, the more shoulder emphasis. Don't lean back more than I do or your spine will not be happy.
