Fixing a Leaking Rain Gutter Before the Next Atmospheric River Shows Up!

This video shows my techniques for fixing the gutter that might help you if you have a similar problem.

The rain gutters on our house were replaced when we had the roof replaced about 15 years ago. They've held up well and were recently repainted with we repainted the house.
However, one gutter corner at the front entry started leaking during the last rainstorm.
It's not a huge leak, but it's right over where we walk in the front door so it needed to be repaired before it got any worse.

An Atmospheric River (heavy rain) is on its way, so the pressure's on to fix it before that happened.

The gutters had gutter guards installed to prevent debris from getting into the gutters and clogging them up. That had to be removed before I could access the inside of the gutter to apply caulk to seal up the leak. I also applied caulk in the outside of the gutter as a second barrier.

I used DAP Dynaflex 230 Premium Elastomeric Interior/Exterior Sealant to seal the leak in the gutter.
