Stopping Ants from Entering Your Home with Diatomaceous Earth

I wish ants would just stay outside. They help aerate the soil and take care of dead animals in nature's way. Unfortunately, they all too often enter people's homes, particularly in the dry months, looking for water (I assume).

This video shows how you can stop them from coming into your home through small crevices using a natural, non-toxic (as long as you don't breath it) product know as Diatomaceous Earth.

Diatomaceous Earth is a fine, white powder made from the fossilized remains of microscopic, single-celled algae called diatoms that can act as a physical/mechanical insecticide.

This is a very long lasting method of keep ants out. You can find it at your local hardware store.
