Christians: “”Telling the Truth” Isn’t an Excuse to Act Like the World

Christians, our behavior shouldn’t look like the world’s—including online.

Jesus spoke the truth with grace, and I see a lot of us focused on the truth part but less focused on the grace part.

I see a lot of us focused on the “he flipped tables” part and less focused on the turn the other cheek part.

I see a lot of excusing our sin and being wholly unrepentant with the fact that we’re “just telling the truth” and “just searching for truth.”

Jesus is the Truth. No other truth matters more.

And no other truth is an excuse to lose sight of Him and sin.

If we aren’t displaying the fruits—even online, even when we’re attacked or righteously angry—then can we really call ourselves Christ followers? #christian #candaceowens
