Mark Driscoll Posted this on social media: “God has bypassed the church pulpit and given his gospel to influencers, politicians and podcasters, and it’s because most Pastors have become unless motivational speakers”. So, this quote upset a lot of people, and we are going to unpack it in this video. Mark Driscoll posted this and in a short time it went viral with over 400,000 views. I will not be addressing anything about Mark Driscoll’s past with Mars Hill Church because others have done this quite extensively. We will only be discussing Mark’s recent quote. Part of the reason why we have bold and aggressive preachers like Mark Driscoll is in response to the woke nonsense we have seen take over society and church and people are looking for the opposite. Mark Driscoll didn’t say God is bypassing churches he said God is bypassing pulpits. I believe Mark is telling the truth here. Considering Charlie Kirk’s death, the church has entered a new error. We must preach the whole truth of God’s word boldly without compromise and engage culture in a loving manner. If Pastors do not do this then God will raise up others who will speak the truth. That is why the younger generation is looking to podcasters and influencers. They are telling the truth and engaging the young people. This is a warning to Pastor and church leaders from a Pastor Mark Driscoll who has a few decades in the ministry.
