SHIFT: A Call to Radical Obedience and Present-Tense Authority

Friends, I want to begin by telling you that this message is born out of a season — my season — of silence, wrestling, and revelation. I delivered it first in a video I recorded for you, and now I bring it here in written form so the words can sit with you, breathe with you, and begin to move you. What I share is not merely opinion; it is what I've been pressed into by the Lord through long mornings of waiting, through the quiet, and through a sharpening of purpose. If you want to watch and hear this message as it was delivered, the recording accompanies this post below.

The Texture of Silence and the Place of the In-Between

Let me be honest. For most of my life I've surrounded myself with noise. I learned to think with the radio on, the TV murmuring, conversations spilling into each other. Silence felt like deprivation. But over the last several years the Lord has taught me a different discipline: seasons of silence that are pregnant with meaning. There is a “flat plain” season He called the in-between — neither a valley nor a chasm, but a staging ground.

When God whispered, “You are in the gap,” it felt excruciating at first. I confess: I asked if I had become an Ichabod — a man the glory has departed from. I wrestled in prayer, in the shower, on the couch. And the Lord answered not with noise but with direction: sit in the silence; learn the texture; don't drift. He said this in order to teach absolute reliance on Him, moment by moment.

The Nature of the Shift: From Church Age to Kingdom Age

We stand at a hinge. In 2022 I felt a marking — a prophetic declaration that the church age is giving way to the kingdom age. That truth deepened in this season. The core of it is simple and terrifying and glorious at once: your authority in Christ is not a future promise alone — it is present tense.

Do not live as a passive bystander. The authority you received the moment you said yes is yours now to exercise. You are a principality and power in the spiritual realm. The question is whether you will use what God has given, or let it atrophy through inaction.

What 'Present-Tense Authority' Means Practically
You are called to press back principalities and powers by faith-filled action.
Authority requires movement — miracles follow breakthroughs, and breakthroughs often require us to step forward.
Prayer, praise, thanksgiving, and proclamation are the weapons of this warfare. Use them.
The Urgency: Wake Up, Get Ready, Act

We heard the testimony of a child named Daniel who spelled out names and said with childlike certainty, “Jesus is coming for us in September.” I don't want to be a date-setter, but I want to be a wake-up call. Whether or not that specific date materializes, the message ought to stir us: live ready. Let urgency produce obedience.

There is forming a crescendo — the great shaking, the separation of sheep and goats. That shaking will produce martyrdom in a broad sense: lives poured out as witnesses, even when friends and family think we've lost our minds. Remember Stephen and the way his death birthed evangelistic momentum in Paul's life. Pain can water revival.

Five Practical Steps: How to Move From Hearing to Doing

If you are asking, “What do I do right now?” here are concrete, actionable practices you can start today. These are distilled from the guidance I have been receiving and from the examples of Scripture.

Enter the secret place.

Come to the altar of consecration — what I call the hot seat. Sit in dim light, quiet your heart, and listen. Sometimes the silence itself is your message. Sit, wait, listen, consecrate.

Be radical in your obedience.

Obedience accelerates spiritual fruitfulness. The early disciples were not trained public speakers; they were fishermen and tax collectors. They obeyed and their message grew stronger. Quick obedience fosters boldness and power.

Move — your miracle requires motion.

Break through the crowd, pick up your mat, step into the miracle. Expect resistance. The enemy tests whether you mean it. If God tells you to give, give. If He says to speak, speak. If He calls you to intercede, rise up.

Release the past.

Bitterness and unforgiveness block healing. Forgive others and yourself. Lay down regret and shame. God is a restorer — He can restore the years the locusts have eaten — but you must first release the hold of past wounds.

Prepare to be marked.

The rising remnant will not be known for popularity but for holiness and witness. Be willing to be set apart. If laws try to silence believers, press forward in righteousness. The candlesticks are being assessed; remain faithful where you are planted.

Organizational and Operational Shifts

This daily Zoom call you have joined is itself shifting. I've been shown that the format, the rhythm, and the model of how we gather and mobilize will change. Expect shorter, sharper calls focused on prayer and strategic decreeing. Expect membership tiers and new community portals where those who are actively engaged can access deeper resources. Some content will remain open to the public; other gatherings will be for those fully invested in the move of God.

Why this shift? Because the Lord is preparing a governmental mantle for those willing to step into it. We are not aiming for political parties to fix this. We are called to establish a godly governance of truth, righteousness, and justice — a countercultural ecclesia that prays and acts at a level of principality and power.

Examples, Warnings, and Encouragement

Yes, difficult things will happen. We've already seen how public attacks can catalyze a movement. The recent assault on a voice like Charlie Kirk has, in some circles, been referred to as a kind of martyrdom. Whether or not we agree with every element, God is using these moments to awaken people. The numbers bear that out: sudden surges in engagement, thousands being stirred to action and to form chapters around a mission.

But let me be blunt: profession without works is spiritual flatulence. Saying “I’m sold out” while living passivity is empty. Faith without works is dead. If you hear something here and do nothing, you have wasted not my time but your own. Take the instruction and use it and do it. The age of comfortable Christianity — lukewarm indifference — is over for those who truly want to make a difference.

What It Looks Like To Rise

The remnant I see is not a celebrity crowd. It is those who will humbly and sacrificially push back darkness by steadfast devotion: worship, prayer, proclamation, and righteous action. We will use what God has given: His Holy Spirit, His authority, and the keys to bind and loose. We will pray for political leaders who align with righteousness; we will oppose the structures that enable wickedness.

Get ready to be marked. Expect opposition. Expect refinement. But also expect revival: a harvest of souls that will rival anything Scripture hints at. The Lord promises that for those who fear His name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings.

Invitation and Final Exhortation

So, what will you choose? Will you remain a spectator, or will you stand, move, consecrate, and speak? Will you accept the invitation to walk through closed doors with divine boldness? The threshold is before us: one season has ended, the next is about to begin.

I have been tested in silence, trained in dependence, and now I'm being mantled for something new. This work will continue every day, but in new formats — prayer-centered, mission-oriented, and geared for action. You are being prepared to reign and rule as kings and priests: not to lord it over others, but to steward God's kingdom on earth.

If you are ready to be marked by radical obedience, begin today. Go to the hot seat ( your secret place). Stand up when God prompts. Forgive. Move. Use your authority now. The Lord is not wanting to terrorize you; He wants glorious participation. He will sustain you. The struggle is real, but the resurrection power in you is greater still.

Come, let us rise as a remnant that will not bow to Baal. Let us be known for holiness, witness, and radical obedience. The time is now.
