New Die Gave More Neck Tension! How Much Difference Does It Make?

So with my new Area419 S- Series die, I have a slightly tighter neck tension. .0005" to be exact! This, in theory, will affect my speeds. So, to make sure I am in the area I want, I decided to test 4 slightly different powder charges. Let's see what difference this small change will make!

I usually am running 39.8 grains. But I noticed speed a little higher than preferred, so I am going to test 39.7, 39.6, 39.5 and find out if any of these give me the range I am wanting to be at right now during the early life of this new barrel.

As you can see from the video, it did give the results I wanted. I was able to drop the speed down. But, most of my groups were really good and my chrono numbers were quite good. Excellent ES and SD numbers! So, now I can't decide, lol.
I think I am going to just pick the 39.6 and run it for this match. If I need to tweak more in the future as this barrel may speed up a little more over the next 50 rounds, I can make another slight adjustment.
This is my favorite part of this. Being able to control as many variables as possible. Identify the ones that I think are a problem, and then correct them if I am able!
