Court Day: ⚖️ They said the payment 💵 is ‘processing’… here’s why we’re still going to court 👀

It’s court day for this eviction case, and we’ve already spoken with the tenants beforehand.
I made it clear: Payment processing is NOT payment received.
Until the funds are actually in our account, the legal process will continue.
Once the full payment is received, we’ll cease legal action — but not before. That’s how you protect the landlord’s interests and avoid last-minute stalls that can delay possession or payment.
The tenants won’t be in court today, but that doesn’t change the outcome. In North Carolina Summary Ejectment cases, as long as the landlord has the documentation — the lease, ledger, notice, and proof of service — the magistrate will make a decision based on the evidence presented.
In property management, it’s about:
✅ Setting clear expectations with tenants
✅ Following the legal process from start to finish
✅ Never halting a case until payment is fully received and cleared
This is the business side of rentals — no drama, just the facts and the law.
Let’s go!
