Greetings from New Brigden, Alberta—a land of wheat, cows, horses, windmills, and above all, the Holy Spirit. I want to share with you a powerful message about God's promises, rest, restoration, and the courtroom in heaven where we can reclaim what has been stolen from us and our families. This is a message born from deep spiritual encounters, biblical truths, and personal testimonies, and I invite you to journey with me as we step into the fullness of God’s plan for our lives.

The Promise of Rest: A Divine Invitation

Have you ever felt weary, burdened, or heavy-laden? Jesus invites all of us who carry such weight to come to Him for rest. Hebrews 4 reminds us that God's promise of rest still stands—His rest is available to us here and now. This isn’t just a future hope; it's a present reality. But there’s a condition: we must believe and obey.

God’s rest is perfect, a divine pause after the work of creation, symbolized by the seventh day when God Himself rested. This rest is not just physical but spiritual, emotional, and relational. It’s a place of peace and restoration that God longs for us to enter. Yet, many who first heard this promise failed to receive it because they disobeyed God.

But here’s the good news: God has set another time—today—for us to enter His rest. This is not merely a new opportunity; it’s a fresh start, a kairos moment. The invitation is open, and God is calling us to say “yes” and step into this divine rest.

Yielding to God: The Pathway to Rest

To enter into God’s rest, we must yield ourselves completely to Him. Imagine the prayer Jesus taught us—the Lord’s Prayer—not as a ritual, but as a model of daily surrender:

"Oh Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give me this day my daily bread. Forgive me my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me. Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever."

Notice that forgiveness is crucial. If we do not forgive, God cannot forgive us. This is not religion trying to bind you; it’s freedom’s door swinging wide open. Forgiveness releases us from bondage and prepares us to receive God's perfect restoration.

Understanding the Courts of Heaven: Claiming What’s Rightfully Yours

Many of us have experienced loss—whether relationships, finances, health, or opportunities. I know personally how much has been stolen from my family’s bloodline. My father once owned a collection of paintings by the Group of Seven, Canada’s most famous artists, worth potentially billions today. Yet, due to business transactions, these treasures were lost. I am claiming them back in the spiritual realm, and so can you.

The Bible teaches that when the thief is caught, he must repay sevenfold. This repayment is not limited to material things but includes every area of loss: health, relationships, hope, and more. The courtroom of heaven is where we present our cases, and God, our righteous Judge, renders a verdict of restoration and recompense.

Precursors to Entering the Courts of Heaven

Entering the courts of heaven might sound complex, but I’m going to give you a step-by-step, paint-by-numbers protocol that anyone can follow to start claiming back what has been stolen. You’ll want to have a pen and paper ready, because this is a practical tool you can use immediately.

Prepare Your Heart: Begin by praying the Lord’s Prayer, focusing on yielding yourself fully to God’s will.
Forgive Others: Lay down any bitterness or unforgiveness. This is essential for freedom and restoration.
Present Your Case: Bring before God the losses you have experienced—whether personal, familial, or generational.
Claim Your Sevenfold Return: Declare that the enemy must repay sevenfold all that was stolen or lost.
Receive by Faith: Believe that God is actively working to restore and multiply your blessings.
Walk in Obedience: Continue to follow God’s leading, trusting Him for the manifestation of your breakthrough.

The Power of the Number Seven: God’s Perfect Return

I asked the Father what a sevenfold return truly means. He responded simply, “Seven is my number.” Seven represents perfection and completion in God’s economy. A sevenfold return is a perfect and just restoration, sometimes multiplied to compensate for lost time, health, resources, wages, and relationships.

This isn’t just an abstract concept. For example, if your heart has been damaged by pain or betrayal, you don’t need seven hearts; you need one perfect heart made whole by God. But for losses like stolen finances or opportunities, the return can be multiplied sevenfold to make up for what was lost.

Many families carry generational losses—whether wealth, health, or spiritual blessings. This sevenfold restoration can be claimed now in your present life because the enemy’s theft does not expire simply because the original victim has passed on. You are the seed of your ancestors, and what was stolen from them is rightfully yours to reclaim.

Personal Testimony: Healing and Freedom

Years ago, I witnessed a powerful moment of healing during a training in Africa. A man who had suffered unimaginable trauma allowed God to perform heart surgery on him. As he forgave his enemies and released bitterness, God replaced his heart of stone with a heart of flesh. This wasn’t just emotional relief—it was a spiritual breakthrough that empowered him to impact millions.

This is what God wants for each of us—to be free from the burdens that weigh us down, so we can step fully into our destiny. But we must participate actively: give God your hurts, forgive those who have wronged you, and receive His healing and restoration.

Living in the Season of Restoration and Increase

We are in a season—a divine era—of restoration, recovery, and increase. Many of you are already seeing miracles manifest in your lives, spiritually and physically. God’s promises are exceeding abundantly above all we could ask or think.

But just as floodwaters can bring destruction, God’s flood is a holy flood—one that washes away the old and ushers in new life. The enemy may try to build dams and levees to hold back this breakthrough, but God declares that these will break. When the levee breaks, there is no place to hide; God’s glory and restoration will flood your life.

Even when adverse winds blow against us—whether opposition, hardship, or spiritual attack—they are the very forces God can use to propel us to greater heights. Like a plane that rises against the wind, we are called to lean into God’s guidance and let these challenges lift us into our promised land.

Joy as Your Strength

Delight yourself in the Lord, and let your joy be full. The joy of the Lord is our strength. When difficulties come, don’t let them steal your joy. Instead, thank God for them because He uses all things for our good and His glory.

This joy is not a fleeting emotion, but a deep, abiding state rooted in faith and trust in God’s unchanging nature. His promises are always “yes and amen.” He is faithful, constant, and ready to turn captivity around for you.

Final Encouragement: Step Boldly into Your Destiny

Christ is our great High Priest who understands our weaknesses. He faced every temptation and trial yet did not sin. Because of this, we can come boldly to the throne of grace, where we receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

God is inviting you to come into His rest, to lay down your burdens, and to walk in freedom. You don’t have to carry your hurts, losses, or regrets any longer. Give them to Jesus. Let Him give you a new heart, a new hope, and a sevenfold return of all that was taken.

Remember, every word of Scripture is a present word. Today is your day to hear God's voice, to open your heart, and to say “yes” to His plan. Don’t harden your heart as those in the wilderness did. Instead, be a faithful one who obeys and receives all that God has prepared.

We are called to be kings and priests, to reign and rule with Christ. But we cannot do that effectively if we are wounded or burdened. So come clean before the Lord, forgive, receive healing, and prepare to walk into the fullness of your destiny.
