Books of the Bible Video Visual Put Into Categories. This video will break down the bible into categories for the both the Old Testaments and New Testaments. First you start with Genesis to Deuteronomy which is considered the law. Then Joshua through Esther is considered history. Then Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, are considered poetry. Then we have Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel and Daniel are the major prophets. Then we have the minor prophets which are Hosea through Malachi. Now we move over the New Testament and start with the gospels which are Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Then the book of Acts is church history. Then we have the Letters which are Romans, 1 & 2 Corinthians and Galatians. Then we have the prison letters which are: Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians. Then the Pastoral Letters which are: 1 & 2 Thessalonians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus and Philemon. Then we have the general letters which are: Hebrews, James, 1 & 2 Peter, 1, 2 & 3 John, and Jude. The Last we have Prophecy which is the book of Revelation.
