Biblical Audio Commentary – Taking God’s Name in Vain

The practice I’ve undertaken every day since becoming a follower of Jesus Christ in 2005 is to read the Bible completely through year-after-year. Sometimes that meant reading it once; at others it meant doing so using a 90-day plan. What I’ve been doing the last several years is to read it through twice a year. Recounting this is not to give myself a pat on the back or to say how spiritual I am, but to say that in these twenty years of diligently and persistently abiding in God’s Word - having read the entire Bible front to back between thirty-five to forty times plus, in addition, the NT-only many times – the Lord has used that to provide me with a solid basis for commenting on prophetic Scripture while looking at the world through this unique lens.
