Canada Day 2025: A Prophetic Declaration of Freedom, Restoration, and Destiny

Happy Canada Day, everyone! Today is not just a celebration of a nation’s birth; it is a prophetic moment, a day of declaration and breakthrough. This is the day when the chains of bondage fall off, even if we don’t see it immediately in the natural realm. The Lord says: "Today is your birthday, Canada, and as you blow out your candles, I say: make your wish. Ask for anything, because access is granted. Your wish is my command."

We proclaim together that Canada is the true north, glorious and free. We ask for a return to that divine identity today. Righteousness and justice are the very foundations of God’s throne, and this land is His covenant nation. So, I declare: the breaker anointing is upon us. Freedom is upon us. Break the chains that bind and walk boldly into your freedom now. Oh Canada, happy birthday to you, in the name of Jesus Christ!

Thanksgiving: Recognizing What We Have and Who We Are
Let us begin this day with gratitude. Yes, we face challenges and discouragements, but we have so much more to be thankful for. Praise and thanksgiving are the keys to entering God’s gates and throne room. I thank God for this glorious land, abundant in natural resources—glistening seas, gleaming mountains, fertile fields, and the golden wheat waving in the breeze. Canada is truly a breadbasket, rich in everything we need.

As you read this, I invite you to proclaim one thing you are thankful for about Canada. Is it the diversity? The natural beauty? The abundance we cherish? The vastness of this great country? All of these things are gifts from God, and today, as our birthday gift, we ask that Canada be fully given back to us again—true and genuine freedom for all its peoples.

Our national anthem reminds us that we stand on guard for this land. We love it, we protect it, and we honor it.

Canada Day: A Time of New Beginnings and Divine Grace
Canada Day falls on July 1st—a day rich in biblical symbolism. The number one represents beginnings, and seven represents completion. This year marks the fifth year of the Declaration Church, and we are stepping into a new season of grace—an abundant, fivefold portion of grace. This is a time to blow out the candles on Canada’s cake and ask God for anything, because He said, “Ask me for anything, and it shall be granted.”

Can a nation be born in a day? Yes, just as a person can be born again, a nation can experience a rebirth. Today, we declare that Canada is being born again—a fresh start shrouded in grace, rooted in truth and justice. We recommit ourselves as a covenant nation unto God’s purposes.

Our Covenant Nation and Its Destiny
God promised that every place we set our feet would be given to us as an inheritance. Today, on this Canada Day, we ask for this nation and beyond; Canada’s prophetic destiny is to take healing into the nations, to be a light in the darkness and we call it forth.

We recall a prophetic word from 1776, when British loyalists fled fled to Canada to remain under British rule. God’s prophets declared "Let them go, I will use the USA and that Canada is being reserved for a special work in the last days. We believe that time is now. We are the generation called to rise, to stand on guard, and to fulfill that destiny.

The Biblical Foundations of Canada: Truth, Justice, and Godliness
Canada’s roots are deeply biblical, and its founding documents reflect this. Did you know that there are 25 scriptures etched into stone, brass, and glass on Canada’s Parliament buildings? These inscriptions, chosen by John A. Pearson, a believing man, remain forever a testament to our nation’s foundation in God’s Word.

In fact, the original lyrics to our national anthem, "O Canada," were penned by godly men—lawyers who became judges—who honored God in their work. The anthem was first performed in 1880 in Quebec City and became the official anthem only in 1980. The lyrics speak of patriot love, truth, righteousness, and justice. This is no secular song; it is a declaration of God’s sovereignty over this land.

Let us recite the original English lyrics together as a reminder of who we are and what we stand for:

O Canada, our home and native land,
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The true north strong and free.
From far and wide, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free.

These words are a covenant, a prophetic declaration that Canada belongs to God and we His people to whom he's given it. Schwab can't have it, UN can't have it, WHO can't have it. It's ours and we take it back. Psalm 2 The Message Translation is a now word:

Furiously, he shuts them up: 6 "Don't you know there's a King in Zion? A coronation banquet Is spread for him on the holy summit." 7 Let me tell you what God said next. He said, "You're my son, And today is your birthday. 8 What do you want? Name it: Nations as a present? continents as a prize? 9 You can command them all to dance for you, Or throw them out with tomorrow's trash." 10 So, rebel-kings, use your heads; Upstart-judges, learn your lesson: 11 Worship God in adoring embrace, 12 Kiss Messiah! Your very lives are in danger, you know; His anger is about to explode, But if you make a run for God - you won't regret it!
The Peace Tower and God’s Word in Our Nation
When the Parliament buildings were rebuilt after the fire of 1916, the Peace Tower was placed at the center, symbolizing peace and justice. Scripture verses are inscribed throughout, reminding us that “He shall have dominion from sea to sea,” and “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” These words call us to vision, faith, and action.

On January 22nd this year, we stood before the Peace Tower and reestablished it as an altar to God. We called down His glory and declared that the fire of God would never go out on this land. This fire consumes every evil plan and brings revival and restoration.

Facing Challenges with Faith and Courage
Yes, Canada faces new threats. Forces seek to erode our freedoms and dismantle the values our founders fought for. But the challenge is clear: we must defend our nation, our values, and our democracy. We cannot wait for others to fight this battle. We are the cavalry. The future of Canada depends on the faith and courage of its people.

We declare that the tyranny and darkness will fall. The exposures are coming. The corrupt will be revealed. Whistleblowers will rise. The unholy alliances and the rigged systems will be exposed and dismantled. This is the season of explosive exposure.

A Call to Prayer, Declaration, and Unity
As the people of God, we are called to rise in righteousness. We decree and declare truth, justice, and godliness over our land. We bind the works of darkness and loose the freedom of God. We call on the heavenly hosts to protect us and to bring down the walls of deception.

We invite all believers to participate in declaring righteousness over every institution—schools, government, media, and society. Your declarations are spiritual bombs that ignite change. Together, we will shift the tide and see revival break out across this nation.

A Fresh Move of the Spirit and a New Fire
God is visiting His church in Canada with a new fire that will awaken the sleepers. Just as He brought Israel out of Egypt through trials and deliverance, so He is vexing Canada to bring forth a unified cry for breakthrough. We are in the season of the Great Awakening, and revival is already underway.

There is a fresh move of the Spirit characterized by deep currents of power and prayer. The logjam that has held back revival for generations is breaking. The fire of God is falling, and Canada will rise as a beacon of healing and hope to the nations.

The Future: A Test of Faith and Stewardship
God promises restoration, recovery, and increase, but there is a test ahead. As prosperity returns, will we be faithful stewards? Will we use the blessings to advance His kingdom and be a blessing to others? The decisions we make now will impact the coming decade and beyond.

Let us commit to living lives of obedience, generosity, and faithfulness. Let us be the faithful remnant that carries the mantle of healing and revival into the future.

Conclusion: Standing on Guard for Canada
Today, on Canada’s 158th birthday, let us stand united in faith, declaring that this nation belongs to God. We thank our founding fathers, who built Canada on Christian principles, and we honor God’s covenant with this land.

We reject the forces that seek to divide and destroy. We bind the religious and political spirits of deception and call down truth, righteousness, and justice. We declare that Canada will be reborn, restored, and renewed as the true north, strong and free.

This is our time. This is our moment. Let us rise up and stand on guard for Canada. Let us take hold of the destiny God has set before us and bring healing to the nations.
