Targeted fat loss is complicated but the research on it points to it being most likely possible when combining HIIT cardio (like sprinting or high speed cycle or any very intense cardio really) with training a specific muscle group; that muscle group is more likely to have greater mobilization of fat stores. So sprinting then doing abs may help reduce belly fat specifically. Give this shot. Even if it doesn't work it's a great way to make an efficient workout and will help improve cardio, strength, muscle endurance, and weight loss regardless of spot reduction.
