Power and Purpose of the Altar + Decrees Over Israel

Thank you Lord, for this brand-new day—the seventeenth day of June—a day that you have made, a day to wipe away yesterday’s failures and to embrace the promise of now. Today, I want to take you deeper into an understanding of what it means to be an altar, to be a spiritual gateway, and ultimately to live as a living sacrifice unto God. This is the foundation for revival, for authority, and for the manifestation of God’s kingdom here on earth.

The Call to Awe and Reverence: Digging Deep to Go High

We begin by standing in awe of the Lord, acknowledging that He is the Creator of all things. “With a single breath, one word, the entire universe was created.” The earth, the fullness thereof, belongs to Him. And yet, He has bestowed upon us dominion and authority over all that He has made.

It’s a paradox that to go higher with God, we must first go lower. We dig in, we get on our knees, we surrender fully. We dig into the deep wells of revival that the Holy Spirit is birthing in our lives and in this church. When we dig in, we go higher—into greater revelation, into greater authority. The Lord says, “Come up here. Let me take you higher. Call on me, and I will show you great and unknowable things.”

As we yield ourselves completely to Him, we proclaim, “Holy is your name.” The power of the spoken word is undeniable. God spoke the earth into existence, and He created us in His image to wield that same creative power through faith-filled words. We speak it, and then we see it.

Faith: The Foundation of Manifestation

Everything we receive from the Lord is apportioned by faith. It’s not about instant gratification; sometimes, the promises are spoken but take years to manifest. I have been speaking prophetic words for decades without seeing them immediately. But God’s timing is perfect, and He asks for our patience.

“For you can do nothing to please Him outside of faith.” This is a critical truth. Faith is the currency in the kingdom of God. Persistent, bold, courageous faith that expects God’s promises to come to pass. As we speak in faith, we align ourselves with His will and authority.

The Power of Confession

What we confess with our mouths creates our reality. God says, “Look how patient I have been with you. I am asking for your patience with Me in return.” Many of us are too impatient, speaking out of frustration or fear. But the Lord reminds us to focus on what we are grateful for, not what we want to eliminate.

“Let the confession of your mouth be the things you’re grateful for.” Because the more we confess our burdens or problems, the more we create them. Instead, speak the goodness and blessings of God over your life. Speak with your whole heart, your whole life, your innermost being. This is the altar of praise and worship.

The Altar: A Spiritual Gateway and Living Sacrifice

Now, let’s dive into the heart of today’s message—the altar. What is an altar? It’s not just a physical place with stones or wood. The altar is a spiritual gateway, a portal between heaven and earth, between the spiritual and natural realms.

There are altars that serve evil purposes, gateways to demonic realms. But God calls us to establish godly altars—gateways of intimate communion with Him, sources of revival and transformation. When Abraham walked the promised land, he established altars wherever he set his feet, opening portals for God’s presence and power.

You Are the Altar

Here’s the breakthrough: you are the altar. You don’t need to build a physical structure to establish an altar. Your heart, your life, your surrender, your faith—they are the altar where God’s fire burns.

“I created you as an altar onto which to send my fire, a gateway for the spirit of God to flow through.” You are a sanctified channel, a demonstration of His glory. The altar is not a place you go to; it is what you become when you give yourself wholly to God.

The Altar as a Place of Sacrifice

In the Old Testament, altars were places to offer sacrifices—animal offerings for atonement, thanksgiving, or restoring fellowship with God. But now, through Christ, we are the living sacrifice. Paul writes in Romans 12:1, “I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.”

Our lives laid down in surrender, yielded to God, create an opening for the spiritual realm to impact the physical world. This is our reasonable act of worship.

Approaching God with Confidence: The Blood of Jesus

We cannot approach God based on our own righteousness or good deeds. None is righteous, no, not one. Our confidence comes only from the blood of Jesus Christ, shed at Calvary. It is His sacrifice that makes us worthy to stand in God’s presence.

Jesus satisfied the holiness of God, and through faith in His work, we can come boldly to the throne of grace. This faith is not dependent on feelings or circumstances. God is not moved by how we feel but by our faith. We walk by faith, not by sight or emotion.

Walking in Faith Through Obedience

Let me share a story with you. One day, I was feeling weak, not spiritual, not joyful. But when I saw a man in need, I laid hands on him and commanded healing in faith. His back straightened, and he started dancing. The miracle wasn’t because I felt spiritual—it was obedience and faith.

This is the secret: it’s not about how much anointing you have or your spiritual gifts. We all have the Spirit and the power to do the works of God. The difference is the level of belief. Increase your belief by turning your life into an altar of faith.

Living as a Continual Living Sacrifice

Laying down your life as a living sacrifice is an ongoing, daily choice. It’s not about giving up your life but receiving life abundantly. Jesus said, “Whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” When you give your whole heart and your whole life to God, He pours out blessings beyond what you can imagine.

Every morning, I give God my breath, my vocal cords, my diaphragm—everything He has given me. I say, “Take it, multiply it, and give it back to me.” It’s a cycle of giving and receiving that sustains our spiritual life and empowers us to walk in victory.

Patience in Manifestation

Not all promises come immediately. God’s timing is perfect. Some things are withheld because we are not ready or because the enemy would steal them. Trust the Father’s perfect plan. Walk in joy over what He has already done, rather than despair over what has not yet manifested.

Standing in Authority for Our Nations and Israel

As we live as altars, we also rise as kings and priests to decree God’s will over our nations. We stand on guard for Canada, America, Mexico, and Israel. Regardless of what political leaders say, we declare that we stand with Israel, the apple of God’s eye.

We call for justice, protection, and deliverance over Israel and over the nations. We decree “access denied” to wicked leaders who oppose God’s purposes. We ask for divine intervention in the political, spiritual, and natural realms.

Through faith-filled decrees and prayers, we call down rain to quench fires, dismantle hostile regimes, and release peace over Jerusalem and the land of Israel. We pray for the leaders of Israel, for wisdom and discernment, and for supernatural protection over the people.

Partnering in Prayer and Support

Standing with Israel is not just words; it’s action. We partner through prayer, faith, and finances. Through our giving, we support vital projects like bomb shelters and humanitarian aid. When you give to the ministry, you are part of this divine partnership, supporting the protection and provision for God’s people.

Building a Network of Altars: Our Next Assignment

The Lord says He cannot give us the next assignment until we complete this one: establishing a network of altars across our land. These altars are spiritual gateways of intimate communion, living sacrifices, and places of authority that influence culture and bring revival.

We are called to be altars, to live lives that are wholly surrendered, fully yielded, and continually offered to God. When we do this, His kingdom comes, His will is done on earth as it is in heaven.

Conclusion: The Call to Wholehearted Commitment

So, today, I ask you: with your whole heart, your whole life, and your innermost being, will you bow in wonder and love before the Holy God? Will you lay down your life as a living sacrifice, an altar for God’s fire to burn brightly in this world?

It’s not about perfection or feelings. It’s about faith, obedience, and surrender. It’s about standing in awe of God’s majesty and power, and walking in the authority He has given us. It’s about being a spiritual gateway through which heaven touches earth.

“Bless the Lord, oh my soul. Bless the Lord, oh my soul.” May this be the confession of your life. May your altar blaze with the fire of God’s presence, and may you walk in the fullness of His blessing, authority, and revival.

God bless you. Stand firm. Stand faithful. And let us see the manifestation of His promises as we live as altars of living sacrifice in this generation.
