I want to tell you this plainly: don’t buy into that fear. God is not calling us to put up a white flag in surrender. The God who defeated death, the grave, Satan, and hell on the cross is the same God who calls us to trust Him fully. He wants us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ.

When distractions come—whether from the media, false teachings, or even well-meaning friends who panic—remember this: you are safe and secure. The Lord says, “Quit chasing the prophets; seek My presence.” When you dwell in His presence, fear loses its grip. You don’t have to be tossed about by every wind of doctrine or every alarming news headline.

Abiding Under the Shadow of El Shaddai

Let me remind you of the powerful names of God—Jehovah, Eliyon, Olam, Shaddai, Elohim, Jireh, Nissi, Rophika, Shalom. Each name reveals a facet of His nature. Today, I want to focus on El Shaddai—the God who is more than enough and more than sufficient for all the needs of His people.

When you abide under the shadow of El Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of the Most High. Imagine coming under a massive wing, wrapped in the hope and stronghold of God. Nothing can come near you. This is not wishful thinking; this is a promise from the word of God. He rescues you from every hidden trap of the enemy and protects you from every false accusation.

Rejecting Fear and False Narratives

There’s a lot of fear and confusion floating around about the pope, new laws, and global conspiracies. Let me be clear: who is the pope before Yeshua? Who is he before the King of Kings? The answer is simple: no one. The name above all names is Jesus Christ. There is a name above cancer, sickness, mental deformity, and every evil scheme. That name is Jesus Christ. So why would we let fear creep into our hearts and homes?

If this kind of fear is sneaking into your house, you need to bolt the doors and guard your heart. Don’t let that garbage in. This is a house of God, and we are the ancient gates, the portals between the natural and the supernatural. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and you will be a gateway for His glory to flow into this earth.

Standing on God’s Promises

Psalm 91 is a fortress of promise. It says the Lord will rescue you from every hidden trap and protect you from every false accusation. His massive arms are wrapped around you, shielding you from harm. You can run under the covering of His majesty and hide there safely.

Fear has no place here. The scripture says, “I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind.” So why are we entertaining fear? We are marching into victory, and God is our great confidence.

The Secret Place: A Recurring State of Being

God has been inviting us all week to come into the secret place, the inner sanctum of His presence. This is not a one-time event but a recurring state of being. When you come into His presence, you receive everything you need—strength, strategy, peace, and confidence.

But you have to come. God is not coming to you; you come to Him. He will wrap His massive arms around you and keep you safe and secure. Nothing will come near you. This is the power of abiding under the shadow of the Almighty.

Guarding Your Gates

You are a gate, a portal between the spiritual and natural realms. What you allow to come in through your eyes, ears, heart, soul, and spirit determines what flows through you into the world. Be careful what you let in. Guard your gates fiercely. Reject fear, confusion, and falsehoods.

Faith Over Fear: A Call to Mental and Spiritual Toughness

We are living in challenging times. Governments are pushing restrictions, fear-based narratives, and spiritual confusion. But God is preparing us. COVID was just training wheels. We must be mentally and spiritually tough, firmly rooted in who we are and whose we are.

Practice your faith like you practice math tables—over and over until it’s embedded in your spirit. When the day comes that you need to stand firm, the words and faith you need will be ready on your tongue. Stand firm in the name of Jesus Christ. Say, “No, this is not coming near me. Stand back, in Jesus’ name.”

Trusting God’s Protection and Power

Remember the story of Daniel in the lion’s den? Even if you walk into the fire, God is with you. The scripture tells us that even if a thousand fall on your right and ten thousand on your left, it will not come near you. You will be unscathed and unharmed because God’s promise is your shield.

We are not going down with the wicked. We are rising up in the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

God’s Instructions and Our Obedience

God calls us to obedience, not fear. In 1 Samuel, the Lord told Samuel to stop mourning over Saul and go to Bethlehem to anoint a new king from Jesse’s sons. Samuel was hesitant, fearing Saul’s reaction, but God assured him he would be protected.

This story teaches us that when God gives you a mission, He equips you and protects you. You don’t have to know all the details in advance. Trust that God will show you what you need to know when you need to know it.

Walking Boldly in Faith

When we obey God’s instructions, even in the face of danger or uncertainty, we walk into victory. The Lord told me to go to a heavily guarded border crossing, and I obeyed. Despite the presence of armed guards and warnings, I walked peacefully because I knew God was with me.

Faith is about boldness and confidence in God’s promises, not hesitation or doubt.

The Power of the Blood and Body of Jesus

Our relationship with God is made possible by the body and blood of Jesus Christ. He made a way where there was no way. He laid down His life as the one and only sacrifice that removes all inequity from us. Because of His sacrifice, we can come boldly into the presence of God, made holy and righteous by His blood.

Sometimes we don’t feel holy, but the scripture says we are sanctified by His blood. This is the foundation of our confidence and security.

Healing and Protection Through Faith

Jesus sent word of healing, and we receive it prophetically. The life of the flesh is in the blood, and by His stripes, we are healed. This is not just spiritual talk—it’s a promise to trust and claim.

I encourage you to embrace this covenant fully. Stand on the promises of God’s word and declare healing, protection, and victory over your life and your family.

We are called to be strong and courageous, to crush the enemy under our feet. Fear has no place in our lives. The Lord says, “Don’t fear a thing.” Whether by night or day, no demonic force or power of evil can harm you when you abide under His shadow.

In times of disaster and judgment, you will remain unscathed and unharmed. You will be a spectator as the wicked perish. This is God’s promise to us.

There’s a lot going on politically and spiritually. I don’t have all the answers about what’s happening with leaders or global events. But I know who my God is. I know who I serve. And I know that victory is coming.

We must not be caught off guard. We must be rooted deeply in the Word of God, prepared mentally and spiritually for what’s ahead. Our faith is our shield, and God’s promises are our foundation.
