When we are nice often major things do not get addressed and we maintain a false peace. Jesus Christ wants us to have true peace in the family of Jesus. But in order to have true peace we must be willing to stand for the truth. Let’s embrace our humanity, speak inconvenient truths, and strive for justice over comfort. The world needs brave, kind leaders ready to challenge the status quo. In a society that often equates niceness with being good and likable, it's important to understand that true kindness is about integrity and action. Niceness won't bring about the change we need, but kindness will. Sometimes the kindest thing we do is tell the truth. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie breaks down why kindness matters more than niceness, especially for those of us constantly told to "be nice." Niceness often means staying silent and avoiding discomfort. But kindness? It’s about truth, justice, and the courage to remake the world. Another great point in the video: Let's drop the perfection myth.
