Riding a Kawasaki M9 EMU Train on the Long Island Railroad from Ronkonkoma to Jamacia

Recorded May 2025. After helping Karen move into her new apartment, she dropped me off at Ronkonkoma Station so I can head back home and not deal with driving through the New York City traffic. Long Island is a pain in the neck to travel to from Westchester County, but the train is an easier way to travel there even though it does take longer. This was also my first time riding the Ronkonkoma Branch so I brought my camera along and recorded the ride. For some reason, the MTA decided to stop hourly service to Grand Central out of Ronkonkoma which resulted in a need to transfer at Jamacia Station. By the time I got onto my connecting train, it was already dark so I decided to conclude the video at Jamacia. The Ronkonkoma Branch is a nice ride! It was nice being able to ride it from the end of the line to the City (Greenport scoot doesn't count lol!). Enjoy the ride!
