Prophecy Simplified: Sting of Authority – Who Holds the Power?

In the last video, we looked at Revelation 9:3 and what the locusts represented in prophecy and in history. We continue to break-down this verse by now examining who the power is behind the locusts, and what scorpions represent in this context.

I want to emphasize this is not a criticism of the Islamic people. This is breaking down themes in prophecy that represent certain characteristics of earthly powers. Every nation, every religion, has their bad apples, so to speak. And just like papal Rome obscured the bible truth by putting man-made counterfeits in replacement of bible truth, so too, many other religions have their man-made traditions whose sole purpose is to undermine/replace Christ.
As we look further into Revelation 9, we will see more characteristics that emerge pointing to this power. However, as the Ottoman Empire's reach increases, this actually affects how papal Rome persecutes those that do not agree with 'her' teachings.
