Weighted Squats are useful to Strengthen:
1. Legs
2. Core

Force Bracing if sufficient weight is used
Force tightening the Core or else our tummy will pop out, lower lumbar region fall further in and we will have bad form/posture.

Weighted Squats, however, have down sides:
1. vertebra separation
2. vertebra decompression

Any vertebra separation (decompression) can be detrimental, depending.

ANY WEIGHTS picked up with one's hands TRANSLATES to weight COMPRESSING almost ALL vertebra in our spines!!!

Repeated Compression of the Spine is NOT Healthy! It can cause disc explosions (ruptures), which can lead to spinal fusions.

I disagree with Most Weight Squat techniques, ALL Dead Lifts and Clean and Jerks. ANY Weight Lifting technique that causes compression of the spine (discs) because those discs, once repeatedly compressed over time simply sets us up for ruptures in our discs - spinal fusions.
