Why Lamentations Is Deeper—and Brighter—Than You Realize!

When one thinks of the book of Lamentations, you probably wouldn't think of something uplifting. It is believed that Jeremiah wrote this book in response to what was happening with Israel, and the calamities that were befalling them due to their rejection of God.

However, after reading Lamentations 3, a beautiful story emerged. One that goes through all human emotions, juxtaposed with being a type of Christ. I haven't covered all the themes in this video, but what is so fascinating is when you begin to really study the scriptures, you will see there is much more to this inspired book than you could possibly imagine!
