Prophecy Simplified. Wings of Warning: The Eagle’s Cry and the Coming Darkness.

And the Fourth Trumpet Sounds!

We continue to unfold the themes in this series on the Trumpets. Where they lie in history, what they can tell us today, and possibly what to expect in the future!

Then, we get an interlude in Revelation 8:13. A clear break between the first four trumpets, and the last three trumpets.

In this verse, there are two translations to this text. One being angel, one being eagle. Based on bible commentaries, some go with the word being angel, as the other trumpets had an angel blowing the trumpet. However, other commentators go with eagle due to what eagles symbolize in the bible, and demonstrating the difference between these 3 woes, and the other trumpets.

I have included the eagle version mainly due to covering the wonderful significance they have in the bible. But based on research, choosing angel or eagle does not make any difference to the interpretation of what is going to happen next...

There is a lot more about eagles in the bible, and the complex juxtaposition of how they are used - to rescue or destroy, to warn or condemn, to strengthen or judge.

Also mentioned in this video, is how a woman symbolizes a church in the bible. I have only briefly covered this theme, as in a later video, I will cover this theme more in-depth.
