The best format for prayer is, of course, the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6. However, there are a few aspects focused on in this list that can help us focus on some key aspects on what we are praying for... Where our mindset is when we start to pray, and what we actually 'expect' from God.
I believe God can do anything, what I personally struggle with is what I want might not be in God's plan. And that is the tricky part. Being blessed by God does not always mean being blessed financially or physically.

The blessing may actually be the trials, what we lack; which could prepare us for the last days, and increase the need of God to lean on, instead of ourselves.

Easier said than done, I know! But the more the Holy Spirit works on our hearts and minds, the more we will understand that it doesn't matter what happens, as God is for us!
